Missed the Point

Missed the Point - is about the search for truth beyond the mundane day to day life faced with the only relief coming at the end with death and the religious afterlife.

We get so caught up with the physical world while we're in it, without realising that the subtleties are all right here now if we can just perceive them.

Our egos become deluded by accumulating the biggest and best without letting the immanent universe in. 'The point' is actually for the world to be hypnotised into a higher way and be carried off, Pied Piper style, into a new and better future.

Missed the Point

Well everybody’s asking
What it’s all about
You do your job and raise your kids
But still you’re deep in doubt.

There must be more, there must be more
There must be more you cry
But the only answer you can find
Is wait until you die.

We’ve missed the point again
We think our bodies are the end
We only see what we believe
What brain and body can perceive
But there’s more to life than meets the eye!

Well everybody’s searching
For a glimpse of truth
A purpose you can touch and see
Some indisputable proof.

There must be more, there must be more
There must be more you scream
But no one looks within themselves
Towards a greater theme.

We’ve missed the point again
We think our bodies are the end
We only see what we believe
What brain and body can perceive
But there’s more to life than meets the eye!

It isn’t a question of religion or looks
The best and biggest or a quote from a book
Take away the egos and conditioned response
Let’s get down to what the Universe wants!

We’ve missed the point again
We think our bodies are the end
We only see what we believe
What brain and body can perceive
But there’s more to life than meets the eye!

Repeat chorus twice more.
